If you are passionate about a career in hospitality and want to join a team that shares this common goal, The Barrington is presently seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the hotel's physical assets, including guest rooms, public spaces, mechanical systems, and other facilities. The role ensures that the hotel meets safety standards, operates efficiently, and provides an excellent experience for guests and works with the maintenance supervisor to lead the maintenance team.As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you'll get to: Responding to internal and guest related work orders. Including hotel, residence, commercial office and retail/ food & beverage.Maintaining the condition of the buildings and tenant spaces, performing repairs and arranging for trades to perform other repairs.Liaising with external service providers present in the building to ensure tasks are performed in accordance with Employer standards.Liaising with the Manager and the building controls team with respect to outstanding issues, procedures and practices at the site.Ensuring presentation in upheld to Employer standards and maintains the buildings in a first-class manner, including ensuring building safety, using their own judgment or as directed by the EmployerComplying with policies and procedures for the operation of the building as in place from time to time.Involvement in delivering guest services and amenities. (kayak/bike rental, dog walking, valet parking etc.)Assisting with the coordination, review and management of parking as per building policies.
