About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and safety-minded Tow Truck Driver to support our Worth Auto social enterprise. This is a temporary hourly position providing flexible, part-time work assisting with the pick-up and delivery of vehicles for donation, repair, or recycling.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong professionalism, safety awareness, and a heart for serving our mission to empower young people and families through practical programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a flatbed tow truck safely and efficiently to transport vehicles across Calgary and surrounding areas.
  • Load, secure, and deliver vehicles in accordance with safety regulations and organizational procedures.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and related equipment.
  • Maintain accurate trip and mileage logs and communicate clearly with team members and donors.
  • Support shop operations with light assistance as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and Air Brake endorsement with a clean driver's abstract (Class 3 considered an asset). *Manual truck
  • Minimum 2 years of safe driving experience; towing or vehicle transport experience preferred.
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and reliability skills.
  • References required upon interview.
  • Flexible schedule availability (occasional evenings or weekends may be required).

  • Type: Temporary, hourly (short-term contract)
  • Hours: 10–20 hours per week, flexible schedule
  • Compensation: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
  • Start Date: November 24, 2025
  • Location: Bay #15, th Avenue NE, Calgary, AB
  • Reports to: Program Manager, Worth Auto
