The ideal candidate will have experience in towing and roadside assistance, excellent customer service skills, and a strong commitment to safety. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for assisting customers in distress, transporting vehicles, and providing roadside assistance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Operate a tow truck to provide towing services to customers. - Respond to emergency roadside assistance calls promptly and professionally. - Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles. - Perform basic roadside assistance tasks such as jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, and fuel delivery. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to provide accurate ETAs and updates. - Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck to ensure it is in good working condition. - Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. - Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the tow truck and equipment. - Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer interactions with professionalism and empathy. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a tow truck driver or in a related field. - Knowledge of towing equipment and procedures. - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations. - Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects. **Benefits:** - Competitive pay - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays - Ongoing training and professional development opportunities **We are located in Edmonton, Alberta.** **Bora Towing is an equal opportunity employer.
