We are seeking a Facility Manager to oversee the operations of our childcare facility located in Agassiz. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, and welcoming environment for both children and staff, aligning with our mission to provide high-quality childcare.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all areas within the facilities.
  • Collaborate with staff to identify facility needs and improvements.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for facility operations.
  • Implement facility policies that promote safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal facility conditions.
  • Manage relationships, staff, families and with external vendors.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in facilities management or related field.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation relevant to childcare settings.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience managing an early childhood education environment is a must.
  • Valid ECE Certificate a must Provincial Wage Enhancement included.
