Overview
Kingston Construction is a well established family business focused on commercial construction in the lower mainland. We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our modernization goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various software tools. We're looking for part-time to start, leading to full time once the candidate is trained and can work independently. Working hours are between Monday and Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Duties
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Organize and maintain digital files, documents, and records.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company website and other online presences, including content management.
- Creating promotional and informational documents with a flair for graphic design.
- Creating forms and organizational systems for Job management.
- Planning and implementing internal company social events.
- Helping with Safety and Equipment Maintenance documentation as required.
- Support the team with data entry, scheduling, and general office tasks as needed.
Skills
- Tech-savvy with ability to troubleshoot and learn new platforms quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Basic understanding of website management (WordPress) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Collaborative, professional, and able to work independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
