Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. We are looking for someone with experience in estimating, AUTOCAD and 3D modelling in REVIT.

Duties

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Assist with Quantity take offs and pricing
  • Review architectural and structural drawings.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
  • Draft in AUTOCAD and assist with Revit modelling.
  • Monitor project budgets and implement cost control measures to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Support the preparation of proposals and budgets
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing changes, and new materials or techniques.
  • Coordinate with the operations and field teams.

Experience

  • Proven experience and education in construction estimating or a related field is essential. (preferably in drywall)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • GOOD TO HAVE - Knowledge of Drywall, steel stud, insulation and Painting systems.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
