We are seeking a results-driven
**Estimator **to join our team in the
** Langley, BC** area office.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be required to review and understand construction drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports for the purpose of assisting with the development and preparation of construction estimates and proposals. You will engage in technical discussions, and collaborate with project managers and operations team members to research and devise an appropriate solution before estimating the cost and submitting a proposal for work.

Specific tasks include:

- Review drawings and specifications
- Quantity take offs
- Review Geotechnical reports
- Collect and evaluate quotations from vendors and suppliers
- Assist in the preparation of estimates

Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 5+ years of estimating experience in Heavy Civil Construction
- Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word

**Additional Preferences**
- Minimum 1 years’ experience within Greater Vancouver area
- Minimum 1 years’ experience within foundations industry
- Familiarity with Heavy Bid or other crew based estimating software would be considered an asset
