This position is eligible for a hybrid work model. When attending an event or meeting in person, your primary office location will be based out of Appleby Arena. Work location is subject to change at the discretion of the City due to operational demands. Effective 2026 this role will be required to be on site 50% of the time each month.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager, RCC Customer Support and Analytics, this position

provides oversight of department customer service teams. Coordinate,

implement, and resolve issues in software systems including data entry related

processes, and circumstances affecting customers. Complete financial, usage,

and Key Performance Indicator reporting as required.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of section staff including recruitment, training, mentoring, scheduling, workload distribution, and ensure a positive team culture that fosters collaboration.
  • Initiate, deliver, and document process for staff management issues.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and timelines to meet the needs of program providers and renters of City facilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality, timeliness, and accuracy of transactions processed through the customer service group in facility booking, fee assistance, third party financial partnerships, and other project support as needed.
  • Oversee financial processes of invoicing, payment collection, account reconciliation, accounts receivable, subsidy payments for organizational accounts, and financial assistance for individuals using RCC programs.
  • Duties and responsibilities are inclusive, but not limited to the above

Requirements

  • Education: Completion of a College Diploma in Business Administration, Recreation, or related field.
  • Experience: Over 2, up to 4 years of experience supervision of customer support.
  • Management and leadership of a small work unit

This position may require occasional travel between sites and/or City facilities.
