Business Analyst and Productivity Specialist (Full Time) - Brampton, ON

Primary Purpose

The PKG lead will work with the productivity team and senior management within PKG business to ensure the strategic implementation of continuous improvement and other productivity improvement initiatives required to drive overall business efficiency and operating profit. This role must ensure the strategic implementation of new and optimized processes and established business KPI's to drive sales, customer experience, business efficiency and play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

This is an existing role and the salary is starting from $95 000.

Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities

• Business Process Focal Point for PKG Business
• Lead strategic productivity initiatives and projects as necessary and help operational/ functional lead to execute projects.
• Understands strategic direction of business unit and implements action plans to meet the needs of the business and key stakeholders; drives bottom-line focus with productivity teams.
• Drive process mapping of current Order to Cash (OTC) processes such as customer acquisition, customer setup, order desk, billing, cash collection etc. & identify opportunities for optimization.
• Working closely with sales director on sales process mapping and KPI's.
• Strong ability to work with large datasets, spot patterns, and generate actionable insights.
• Create customer sales analytics to give visibility into customer, market, and product trends.
• Implement Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology in ordering & customer service processes, maximize replication opportunities with business leads, and implement best practices.
• Facilitates idea generation through collaborative efforts (e.g., brainstorming, lean events, process mapping and stakeholder engagement).
• Involved in tool development such as customer segmentation, branch analysis from concept initiation through commercialization & be expected to work closely with the business to lead the project.
• Develop relevant and insightful KPI's for continuous monitoring and improvement across various PKG business areas.
• Collaborate with other members of Linde Digital in the sharing of opportunities and best practices.
• Manage productivity pipeline & track it for accurate projection of savings. Engage with business leads to improve productivity performance compared to the other Linde business units & regions.

Competency

• Strong in analytical thinking to diagnose complex problems and develop effective solutions to address the issue.
• Strong ability in data analysis include sourcing data, assessing data quality, and dealing with gaps in data completeness to draw accurate insights from the data.
• Writing and running queries to extract data from relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle DB, etc.).
• Excel and digital capabilities to drive initiatives and to bring insight faster (e.g., Power BI). Advance knowledge of Tableau, Power BI tools to create dashboards, visual reports, and predict trends.
• Working knowledge of Popular tools: Microsoft Visio, Mural, Lucidchart etc. for process mapping.
• Self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and function independently with minimal supervision.

Expectations

• Help businesses lead in mapping out current state of process & identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Develop insightful KPI dashboard for continuous monitoring and improvement across various PKG business areas.
• Clear communication of status, actions, progress, and measurable value creation in productivity pipeline.
• Knowledge of AI & Machine Learning trends to understand how data-driven AI solutions can provide benefit

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, computer science or related field required.
• Proven 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, process improvement etc.
• Hands-on experience with process modeling tools like Mural, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Hands-on with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Exposure to or certification in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies will be an asset.
