Sr. Business Analyst Brampton, Hybrid (1-2x weekly)
The Commercial Banking team at one of Beovexis's top Banking clients is looking for a Senior Business Analyst.
This is a hybrid, 6-month contract role [extend/convert to FTE] based in Brampton.
What you bring:
Knowledge
University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business and/or Information Systems
Proven experience building data warehouse environments end-to-end from conception to production
Strong Business Systems Analysis expertise within a complex data warehousing environment
Exposure to Netezza, IPS, SSIS, and Cloud [or similar] an asset
Expertise gathering business requirements from client groups and different LOBs and converting into functional specification requirements.
Proficiency using SQL statements to query data as well as perform data profiling and verification
Expertise in data modeling, data model design, data analysis methodology, and data mapping
Solid knowledge of databases and data warehousing
Business knowledge in Finance/Banking industry preferred
CFA is an asset
Soft skills:
Strong analytical skills, communication skills and presentable skills
Thorough in-depth skills on data model design and data analysis methodology
Displays leadership skills to work with project managers and development team on project initiatives
