Human Resources Generalist
in the
Insolvency Sector

North York, ON, Ontario.

As an HR Generalist, you'll be the go-to resource for both employees and management, ensuring policies align with business goals and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Source, screen, and interview candidates; manage new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on policies, resolve workplace issues, and promote fair treatment.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, track vacation, and manage benefits programs.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Ontario labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate learning programs and maintain training records.
  • Offboarding: Facilitate smooth employee exits and conduct exit interviews.

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in HR or related field
  • CHRL designation is an asset
  • 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience in service-sector environments (non-manufacturing)
