We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Management Assistant to support our property management team. This role involves providing administrative support, managing tenant relationships, and assisting with daily operations to ensure smooth property functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and office procedures. Duties

  • Assist in managing property leasing processes, including lease agreements, renewals, tenant records, and data entry
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to tenant inquiries via phone and email while maintaining professional phone etiquette
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, inspections, and contractor schedules to ensure timely resolution
  • Support general administrative tasks, including filing, record keeping, preparing reports, and maintaining organized office operations in compliance with company policies
  • Engage in tenant relationship management, including follow-ups and addressing concerns effectively
  • Post rental listings, assist with tenant screening, and track rent payments

Experience

  • Strong background in administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, record keeping, and handling multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional phone etiquette for interacting with tenants, vendors, and team members
  • Experience in customer service or sales roles involving negotiation, relationship management, and problem-solving
  • Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and standard office software
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and work independently

Bonus Skills:

  • Knowledge of landlord–tenant laws
  • Experience with property management software (AppFolio, Buildium, TenantCloud)
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
