About the Company
At Telsec, we've been helping Calgary's business community grow since 1976. We're a full-service real estate development and management company with over 200 commercial tenants in office, retail, and flex-industrial properties across the city. We have also recently expanded our portfolio to include Eau Claire Athletic Club (ECAC), one of Calgary's premier private fitness and wellness facilities.
Our mission is simple: to create spaces where small and mid-sized businesses can thrive. We're the kind of company that builds relationships, not just leases, and many of our tenants have been with us since their early days and continue to grow alongside us. We believe that property management is about supporting people, improving systems, and continuously finding smarter ways to work. As we expand our focus on information management, data analysis, and automation, we're looking for someone who can help us push those initiatives forward across both Telsec and ECAC.
About the Role
The
Process Improvement Intern
will report directly to the President to play a key role in driving operational efficiency and digital transformation across Telsec and ECAC.
This is a full-time or part-time contract role, with a minimum contract length of 1 year and potential to extend.
This role combines system design, data analytics, automation, and AI integration to make our workflows more efficient and our internal knowledge more accessible. You'll document and visualize operational procedures, develop and maintain automated tools, and collaborate with leadership to explore new technologies that make both Telsec and ECAC smarter, faster, and more connected.
This role is a great fit for someone who's analytical, curious, and process-driven – someone who sees inefficiency and wants to fix it, who enjoys connecting ideas across departments, and who's motivated by the opportunity to make a measurable impact in a growth-minded organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and publish internal training materials, including instructional videos and written guides, to document workflows and support staff training across Telsec and ECAC.
- Maintain and enhance Power Automate workflows, SharePoint documentation systems, Connecteam resources and other digital tools that streamline property management and administrative processes.
- Design, manage, and analyze operational data models to identify trends, efficiency bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support ongoing AI initiatives such as internal knowledge systems, OCR transcription models, and intelligent document automation and help test emerging tools that enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with property management, accounting, and leadership teams to document, analyze, and continuously refine internal workflows and operational protocols.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in

,

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects.
- Curious mindset with a willingness to research, learn, and experiment with new tools and technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to create clear instructional content for both internal and external company use.
