Role overview:
We're looking for an experienced, hands‑on supervisor who can run the store smoothly every day—front and back. You'll lead a small crew, keep operations tight during rush, manage inventory and basic store admin, and make sure every order meets our standards. Strong kitchen and store‑floor experience is essential; hospitality or food‑service leadership at smaller venues is highly valued. This is not a corporate manager role—it's a practical, boots‑on‑the‑ground leader who keeps the shop moving.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage daily store operations from opening to close: oversee food prep, drink making, order assembly, and hand‑offs to delivery platforms.
- Lead, train, and supervise a small team; set clear standards, assign duties, and maintain pace during busy periods.
- Ensure food safety and proper handling in the kitchen; keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
- Handle POS and cash‑handling tasks accurately; support basic inventory checks and supply ordering.
- Resolve on‑site issues quickly—staff questions, equipment hiccups, or customer/delivery partner concerns—so service stays smooth.
- Communicate operational updates, problems, and ideas for improvement directly with the owner.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on food service experience in kitchens, coffee shops, or quick‑service outlets; previous supervisory or lead role strongly preferred.
- Comfortable with fast, order‑driven environments—especially takeout and delivery workflows.
- Mandarin fluency preferred for smoother internal communication; English proficiency required.
- Strong execution and organization: can set clear expectations, maintain pace, and keep quality consistent.
- Problem‑solver who stays calm under pressure; willing to take ownership of daily operations.
- Reliable, long‑term commitment; ready to grow with the store from opening onward.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
