Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Clerk to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills and a background in office administration. This role involves managing and maintaining files, ensuring that all documents are accurately filed and easily retrievable. The File Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the overall efficiency of our operations through effective data management.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for easy access to documents
- Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
- Assist with the collection and compilation of data for reports or audits
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and ERP systems for tracking and managing files
- Conduct regular audits of files to ensure compliance with company policies
- Support administrative tasks as needed, including typing correspondence and clerical duties
- Collaborate with team members to improve filing processes and organizational efficiency
Requirements
- Previous office experience is preferred, with a focus on clerical duties
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with databases
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience with data entry and typing, demonstrating speed and accuracy
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with various office software applications
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally
