MSALABS is an experienced global provider of geochemical laboratory services to the exploration and mining industries in Canada, the USA and around the world. We have a rapidly growing network of laboratories in key mining regions around the world to limit lead times and transit costs and we employ the latest hi-tech analysis equipment.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail orientated self-starter who has the following skills and experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with accurate, consistent, and timely information, consulting with appropriate resources when required.
  • Research all customer inquiries to complete resolution, enter corresponding orders / quotes with complete documented follow-up.
  • Provide prompt and complete responses to phone calls, e-mails, and faxed requests from customers.
  • Format and release results to customers.
  • Assist with AR follow-up in conjunction with the accounting department.
  • Liaise with Laboratory Manager and department heads to program daily production.
  • Generate production and WIP reports for specific areas and customers as needed.
  • Provide sales and marketing support by assisting with the preparation of quotations and other duties as needed.
  • Provide general support to the Invoicing/Admin department as required.
  • Participate, when requested in department and health and safety meetings.
  • Participate, when requested in internal and external audits.
  • Keeps work area clean, neat and organized.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Detail orientated and ability to work very well under pressure.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • BSc. or Science Diploma; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 1-3 years experience in a Customer Service role at a commercial laboratory or a Customer Service role in a related field.
  • General commercial laboratory experience will be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
