As a Logistics Analyst, you will support Emergency Management and Community Safety (EMCS) to ensure that the work area's complex fleet, facilities, and equipment needs are met. You will be responsible for fleet asset coordination and planning, facility asset coordination and equipment coordination and planning. Primary duties include:
- Coordinate and support fleet across EMCS, including elicitation of fleet requirements, coordination of fleet procurement, outfitting, and deployment to public safety staff across multiple locations.
- Manage monthly fleet inspections and unplanned vehicle maintenance and repairs, equipment installation in vehicles, and administration of the fueling program.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of fleet vehicles, primary reporting location and financial data on units in service.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on EMCS fleet and facility procedures, acting as a liaison between operational teams to ensure fleet and facility priorities are outlined and managed.
- Conduct ongoing assessment, analysis and planning of EMCS facility needs, requirements and forecast.
- Act as the primary point of contact for support coordination, prioritization, and approval of any building maintenance or upgrade, including facilities work orders and space planning requests.
- Assess, maintain, and manage access and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety supplies, communications equipment, and tools that enable public and officer safety.
- Analyze, assess and execute equipment lifecycle requirements and forecasted equipment needs.
- Maintain active reporting and coordination of EMCS contracts, purchase orders, including monitoring spend rate and contract expiration dates.
- Work with Corporate Stores and Clothing to ensure staff receive their annual clothing allotments, training clothing and equipment; manage, obtain and distribute regalia items.
Qualifications
- A completed 1 year certificate in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Business Management, Project Management, Supply Chain Management or similar, and at least 3 years of related experience.
- Experience working with operational teams in the delivery of products, projects, or resources required to meet operational demands is required.
- Experience and understanding of the following areas: fleet, facilities, and/or asset management is required.
- Knowledge and/or experience in business analysis, project management, supply management, public safety and emergency services operations will be considered an asset.
- Experience with Peoplesoft Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and/or SAP Ariba Contract Management System will be an asset.
- Incident Command System (ICS) 100 (or higher) training will also be considered an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to provide personalized and proactive communications and the ability to communicate complex issues to diverse audiences.

Workstyle: This position may be eligible to work from home for at least part of the time as one of several flexible work options available to City employees. Such arrangements are based on the operational requirements of the position and employee suitability and are subject to change based on operational needs and corporate direction.
