Job Overview

The Marketing Manager – North America is responsible for leading the marketing strategy, execution, and performance management of Paradox Hotel Vancouver, Aava Whistler, and Summit Lodge Whistler.

This role ensures cohesive brand positioning, unified digital campaigns, and consistent storytelling across all three properties. The successful candidate will leverage digital tools, partnerships, and data-driven insights to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue growth through direct channels.

Keys Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Campaign Management

· Lead all digital marketing campaigns through Amadeus, ensuring data-driven targeting, brand consistency, and optimal ROI.

· Plan, execute, and analyze paid search, display, and social ad campaigns.

· Provide monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations per property.

Website Management & Conversion Optimization

· Manage property-level websites for Paradox Vancouver, Aava Whistler, and Summit Lodge, ensuring up-to-date content, SEO optimization, and alignment with promotions and campaigns.

· Monitor and improve performance versus OTAs, focusing on increasing direct bookings.

· Manage newsletter distribution, guest database segmentation, and automation to maximize engagement and conversion.

· Collaborate with Sales and Revenue teams to align campaigns with rate strategy and occupancy targets.

Campaign Development & Brand Promotions

· Develop and execute property-level and regional promotions that drive bookings and reinforce brand identity.

· Plan and implement seasonal or thematic campaigns in collaboration with property teams and global marketing direction.

· Oversee production of photography, videography, and digital content assets to support campaign needs.

Social Media Management

· Manage social media strategy, calendar, and posting schedule for all three properties.

· Create and curate engaging content that reflects brand voice and property personality.

· Collaborate with influencers, creators, and destination partners to expand audience reach and engagement.

Creative Development & Asset Management

· Supervise a Graphic Artist/Designer responsible for producing high-quality marketing and social media visuals.

· Maintain a shared creative library to ensure brand consistency across all assets and platforms.

Partnerships & Public Relations

· Collaborate with Destination Vancouver, Tourism Whistler, and other DMOs/DMCs to participate in co-op marketing, destination campaigns, and FAM opportunities.

· Develop and manage partnerships with media, publications, influencers, and organizations that align with the brand and target audience — including Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Forbes Travel Guide, and other partnerships applicable.

· Identify opportunities for collaboration with travel associations, industry bodies, and tourism boards such as Destination Canada, MPI, PCMA, and SITE Canada to enhance visibility and expand market reach.

· Coordinate press visits, influencer stays, and media events to showcase property highlights and experiences.

· Support PR efforts including press release creation, media kit management, and award submissions (e.g., Condé Nast Readers' Choice, and others).

Reporting & Administration

· Manage shared marketing budgets across the three properties and report on ROI and performance.

· Prepare campaign performance summaries for leadership and identify areas for optimization.

· Ensure adherence to brand standards and corporate marketing guidelines in all campaigns and communications.

Other Duties

· Perform other duties, projects, or assignments related to the role as required to support the success of the properties and the Sales & Marketing department.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality or digital marketing, preferably in a multi-property or regional role.

· Proven experience managing paid media, social campaigns, and website optimization.

· Familiarity with Amadeus, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong understanding of hotel e-commerce, OTA dynamics, and direct booking strategies.

· Exceptional project management, analytical, and reporting skills.

· Creative thinker with a strong eye for brand storytelling and content development.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities across properties.

· Collaborative and proactive, with leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
