Position Overview

Ambient Health Services is seeking a meticulous and dependable Data Entry Clerk to support our healthcare operations. This role is vital to maintaining accurate client records, scheduling, and documentation using our core platforms—RISE and AXIS Care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling sensitive health-related data with discretion and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Input and update client information, care plans, and service records into RISE and AXIS Care systems
  • Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organizational data in compliance with HIPAA and company policies
  • Generate reports and assist with audits as needed
  • Communicate with care coordinators and administrative staff to ensure data consistency
  • Support other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in healthcare administration or office management is a plus
  • Prior experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with RISE and AXIS Care software is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent typing speed and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Part time to start, may increase to full-time
  • 3 o 4 days per week. 8am-4pm
  • Must be comfortable working with sensitive health data and maintaining strict confidentiality

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
