Sandhill Nursery is growing, and we're looking for a Customer Service & Sales Coordinator to become the central hub of our customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and keeping multiple moving parts running smoothly — while also recognizing opportunities to support sales, bookings, and follow-ups.

You will be the first point of contact for customers reaching out about our garden centre, landscaping services, maintenance team, marketing initiatives, and the Rusty Rake Café & Pizza Truck.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for incoming phone calls, emails, and online inquiries

  • Filter, prioritize, and route customer requests to the appropriate departments

  • Manage and respond to customer messages across social media and online platforms

  • Enter, track, and manage customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Coordinate deliveries and schedules with internal teams and customers

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of activities across all Sandhill teams

  • Identify opportunities to turn inquiries into sales, bookings, or follow-up conversations

  • Troubleshoot customer questions and provide timely, practical solutions

  • Build strong customer relationships while delivering a high level of service

  • Act as a key communication link between customers and internal departments

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing, administrative, coordination, or sales-focused role

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Confident and comfortable communicating by phone and online

  • Sales-minded, with a natural ability to recognize opportunities without being pushyStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet

  • Comfortable using digital tools such as email, social platforms, and order-management systems

  • Team-oriented and able to collaborate across departments

  • Experience coordinating schedules, orders, or deliveries is an asset

  • Knowledge of plants, gardening, or the green industry is an asset (training provided)A genuine interest in contributing to a positive, community-focused workplace.

**Wage based on experience**

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
