Position Summary
The
IT Manager, Financial Applications & Integrations
will collaborate with IT team members, business stakeholders and project sponsors in the delivery and support of financially-focused business solutions, generally related to Epicor ERP applications.
The role will apply well-honed consultative skills, project management acumen, functional and technical skills in the management of application sustainment. The role requires adaptability to project environments including waterfall methods, agile delivery teams, or a hybrid of methodologies, depending on the nature of the project/program.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow organizational team members.
- Manage a team of IT professionals including Developers, BA's and vendor partners.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Build rapport and elicit problem details from internal customers (and external customers where applicable).
- Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, IT infrastructure team members, project managers / scrum masters, product owners, and various business stakeholders to implement Financial solutions, and to ensure smooth and reliable operation of systems and processes.
- Strong ability to conduct sessions with business stakeholders to understand, gather and document business requirements and assess solution configuration options
- Manage work with in-house sustainment team and vendor partners to integrate solutions into new and existing architectures.
- Build and support business case development for new solutions and resources.
- Document functional and technical specifications and requirements and create installation instructions as may be required.
- Identify and learn appropriate software used and supported by the organization; lead team with same.
- Comply with all assigned administrative, operational, and financial tasks.
- Adhere to established policies, standards, and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of systems and data.
- Provide support to Project Managers for project plans, budgets, schedules, risks and issues, and related delivery needs.
Job Qualifications
- Degree from Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven and successful track record with Epicor ERP applications, and related Microsoft technologies, and similar products and integration methodologies.
- Experience with common application platforms, development tools and best practices.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint integration.
- Working knowledge and deep understanding of Azure DevOps and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Certification in a technical field or functional discipline is a plus.
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies for large and complex projects
- Strong leader with ability to work with a diverse team of resources – employees, contractors, vendors, etc.
- Strong communication and organization skills and ability to work interdependently across the organization.
- High tolerance for ambiguity; high acceptance of change; ability to calmly lead team through uncertainties; ability to make decisions without having all the facts.
