We are looking for a seasoned
Financial Analyst-Banking-wealth management
to support a top-tier bank with quarter-end and year-end book closings. I
mmediate start
, ideal for candidates with strong banking experience and a solid understanding of wealth management.

Position: Financial Analyst-quarter-end and year-end book closing

Location: Toronto, ON (3-4 days Hybrid)

Duration: 6+month contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support quarter-end and year-end financial book closings.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements accurately and on schedule.
  • Analyze financial results, identify discrepancies, and assist with corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and perform ad hoc financial analyses as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven banking experience, preferably with exposure to wealth management.
  • Demonstrated experience with quarter-end and year-end closings and journal preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience with banking ERP systems is an asset.
