Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Job Description:
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Process and record financial transactions, including journal entries, invoices, and payments
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Provide administrative support to the management team, including:
- Scheduling appointments and meetings
- Managing email and phone correspondence
- Preparing documents and reports
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administration
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in accounting or a related field preferred
- Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administration
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA) designation
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software
- Familiarity with Canadian payroll regulations and benefits administration.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $53,367.87-$65,516.31 per year
