Job Description:

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Process and record financial transactions, including journal entries, invoices, and payments
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Provide administrative support to the management team, including:
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Managing email and phone correspondence
  • Preparing documents and reports

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administration
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in accounting or a related field preferred
  • Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administration
  • Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA) designation
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting software
  • Familiarity with Canadian payroll regulations and benefits administration.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $53,367.87-$65,516.31 per year
