Firm: Marwah-Jad Immigration Law LLP

Location: Remote or Ottawa Office

Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 per year (depending on experience)

Position Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Marwah-Jad Immigration Law LLP is seeking an experienced Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) who speaks Arabic and English. This is a full-time role focused on preparing immigration files, handling client communication, assisting with lead calls, and taking consultations. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing a broad range of immigration matters.

This position reports directly to the Managing Partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review immigration applications including:
  • TRV, Super Visa, Study Permit, Work Permit, PGWP
  • Express Entry, PNP, Visitor Extensions
  • Spousal Sponsorship (inside/outside Canada)
  • Common-Law Sponsorships
  • Dependent and Family Class Sponsorships
  • PR – H&C Applications
  • Conduct consultations with potential clients and provide preliminary assessments.
  • Draft LOEs, submission letters, forms, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with clients in Arabic and English regarding updates, requirements, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with lead calls and initial screening to determine eligibility and next steps.
  • Answer client phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain organized and accurate digital files.
  • Provide regular updates and file summaries to the Managing Partner.
  • Ensure all submissions comply with ICCRC/College regulatory standards and internal quality controls.

Requirements

  • Licensed RCIC in good standing.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on immigration experience.
  • Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Professional client-facing and phone communication skills.
  • Ability to independently conduct consultations and provide guidance.
  • Experience with IRCC portals and digital filing systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple files efficiently and meet deadlines.

  • Experience with refugee-related applications is an asset.
  • French language skills (asset but not required).
  • Knowledge of or similar workflow/project management tools.
