Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk/Immigration Case Analyst (must have immigration law experience) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of immigration law procedures, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for providing exceptional client service. This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and filing immigration applications, including study permits, work permits, permanent residency applications, spousal sponsorships, and appeals.
  • Analyze client cases, review supporting documents, and identify any gaps or additional requirements.
  • Draft and review legal correspondence, forms, and supporting documents.
  • Maintain and organize client files in compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documents and information.
  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on changes in Canadian immigration law.
  • Support the lawyer in preparing for hearings and client consultations.
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and case milestones to ensure timely submissions.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in immigration law (mandatory).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze cases and think critically to provide effective support.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in additional languages (an asset but not required).
