Associate RCIC

My Visa Partner is a growing immigration consultancy serving clients in Canada and worldwide. We are currently seeking a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to join our practice on an independent contractor basis. This role is best suited for someone who values accuracy, professional ethics, and long-term client relationships, and prefers a collaborative practice environment in a remote professional setting.

Requirements:

• University or college degree, with active RCIC license in good standing with the CICC
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on client file experience - applications from more experienced RCICs welcome
• Experience with at least two of the following: Study permits, TRVs (visitor visas), Work permit applications (LMIA-based, LMIA-exempt, open), Economic class permanent residence (Express Entry and/or PNPs)
• Strong legal reasoning skills – able to assess eligibility, identify risk, and apply immigration law and policy accurately
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Professional presence in communication — able to speak clearly and confidently with Canadian clients as well as international clients from varied linguistic and cultural backgrounds
• Proficient with common digital tools and cloud-based workflows (Google Workspace)
• Comfortable communicating with clients on video calls via Zoom
