Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to oversee daily office operations and support our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, clerical, and communication skills (especially with warehouse staff), with experience in supervising staff and managing office systems. This role is essential in ensuring smooth workflow, efficient vendor management, and effective team coordination. The Office Administrator should contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and greeting visitors
  • Oversee clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
  • Supervise administrative staff and coordinate team management activities
  • Handle bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process payroll and assist with human resources functions including onboarding and training & development
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes
  • Maintain organized office environment to support operational efficiency
  • Ensure excellent phone etiquette and professional communication with clients, vendors, and staff
  • Support office projects, scheduling, and administrative workflows to meet organizational goals

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office administration or related roles with strong organizational skills
  • Supervising experience preferred
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and multi-line phone systems
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll processing, human resources procedures, and vendor management
  • Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience in training & development programs is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior office experience including clerical and administrative responsibilities is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
