This job is open for all Canadians with the required experience including underrepresented groups: Newcomers and Youth are targeted.

Duties:

· Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies

· Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget

· Monitor revenues to determine labour cost

· Monitor staff performance

· Plan and organize daily operations

· Recruit staff

· Set staff work schedules

· Supervise staff

· Cost products and services

· Organize and maintain inventory

· Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies

· Participate in marketing plans and implementation

· Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization

· Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

· Recruit and hire staff

· Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

· Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Requirements: Min. 2 years of management experience and is able to supervise 15+ staff: Must have knowledge and supervising experience on authentic Thai cuisine recipes, as well as Thai restaurant operation managing experience.

Wage: $36/hour, 35 hours/week. Full time only.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00 per hour
