Marketing & Content Intern – Resin8

Location:
 Houston, TX or Calgary, AB preferred. Fully remote considered for highly qualified and self-driven candidates.

Duration:
 3 months (with potential for full-time conversion)

Compensation: $20USD/hr

Including a portfolio of prior work product (including school projects) will greatly increase your visibility to the hiring team. This doesn't have to be related to our field.

With millions in equipment already listed, Resin8 is building a modern alternative to legacy channels and setting a new standard for how industrial assets move across the market.

Responsibilities

·
Design and produce engaging multimedia content (short-form videos, graphics, podcasts, blog posts) to showcase Resin8's marketplace, sellers, and equipment.

· Use AI and creative design tools to generate and refine marketing materials.

· Utilize both traditional and novel marketing channels and tactics to grow brand awareness and attract new customers.

· Collaborate with the founding team to support social media campaigns, inbound content, newsletters, community engagement, and customer success.

· Occasional travel within the US and Canada for on-site customer visits to conduct interviews and capture content.

Qualifications

· Current senior or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Design, Media Studies, Business, or related fields (others considered if relevant skills are demonstrated).

· Demonstrated ability in video editing and/or graphic design. Bonus: experience in podcast production, photography, or B2B content creation.

· Fluency with creative content tools and AI for text, design, or video production (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, Midjourney, Sora).

· Ability to work independently, experiment, and adapt in a dynamic and flexible startup environment.

· Willing to learn about and quickly become fluent in new industries and technologies. Particularly: industrial equipment, manufacturing, energy, O&G.

· Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

Opportunities for Growth

This internship is designed as a 3-month engagement to give recent new hires a meaningful, hands-on startup experience in marketing, branding, and growth. It is also an opportunity to learn about new industries and develop skills with new digital and AI-native tools.
