Reporting directly to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, screening, and acquiring top talent and providing an exceptional onboarding experience for new staff. The Recruitment Coordinator is an effective administrator who thrives on connecting with people, understanding their unique strengths, and matching them with opportunities to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the full cycle recruiting process for Class 1 Drivers.

  • Field candidate phone calls and walk-in inquiries. Screen applications and conduct preliminary phone interviews.

  • Schedule interviews, road tests, and orientation sessions with candidates.

  • Maintain the applicant tracking system and ensure candidate data is accurate and organized.

  • Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, ensuring that participants have a meaningful and engaging first experience.

  • Ensure an exceptional recruitment experience is delivered for all candidates.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

  • Related University degree or college diploma is an asset.

  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge & experience with MS Office Suite and Teams. Experience with TMW software is considered an asset.

  • Exceptional organizational & problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to quickly adapt and approach complex or sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.

  • Ability to work efficiently within a group setting.
