Paninaro is Ottawa's destination for bold, Italian-inspired sandwiches—and we're on the hunt for a Line Cook who takes pride in their craft and wants to grow with a fast-paced, passionate team.

This isn't just slapping meat on bread. This is about building something memorable—flavour-packed, beautifully crafted sandwiches made with love, precision, and top-quality ingredients.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Crafting delicious sandwiches with consistency, care, and speed
  • Slicing meats to order on our deli slicer (sharp skills required )
  • Prepping ingredients: from sauces to toppings, you'll keep us ready for service
  • Assembling catering orders and helping pack for pickups and deliveries
  • Keeping your station spotless, organized, and fully stocked
  • Following kitchen procedures and daily prep checklists like a pro
  • Supporting the kitchen team through busy rushes

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a quick-service kitchen, deli, or sandwich shop is a big plus
  • Strong knife skills and comfort using a slicer
  • You can follow a recipe, manage time well, and stay cool under pressure
  • You're organized, reliable, and work well solo and as part of a team
  • Food Handler Certification is preferred
  • Bonus points if you've worked with apps like UberEats or DoorDash
