About the Role
We're seeking a creative, organized, and highly motivated Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives for both The Lash Shop and The Brow Shop. This role focuses heavily on content direction, social media strategy, influencer partnerships, campaign planning, and team coordination.
You'll work closely with our graphic designers, educators, and team to ensure cohesive storytelling, engaging content, and successful product and training launches. This is an in-person role at our North York headquarters.
This position is perfect for someone who is hands-on, social-media savvy, strong at storytelling, and passionate about the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Direction
- Lead the organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Work closely with the graphic team, educators, and content creators to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
- Develop scripts, outlines, and messaging for videos, reels, and educational content.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, educational tone, and storytelling style.
- Monitor social trends, industry conversations, and competitor content to inspire fresh ideas.
- Engage with our community of lash and brow professionals to build trust and loyalty.
Campaigns & Brand Storytelling
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns for:
- Product launches
- Training/course launches
- Seasonal promotions
- Webinars and events
- Develop messaging frameworks and simple creative briefs for designers and creators.
- Own the marketing calendar and ensure alignment across social, email, ecommerce, and education.
Influencer & Affiliate Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and educators.
- Coordinate product gifting, PR packages, and collaboration opportunities.
- Track influencer content performance and engagement.
- Support the growth of our affiliate and ambassador network.
Email Marketing & CRM Support (Light)
- Assist with email planning and campaign coordination.
- Provide direction for email themes, messaging, and creative needs.
- Support the setup of simple automations and basic segmentation (no advanced technical builds required).
Analytics & Performance (Light)
- Track key metrics across social, email, and campaigns (engagement, reach, growth, CTR, conversions).
- Prepare simple weekly/monthly summaries with actionable insights.
- Monitor customer feedback, educator insights, and industry trends to guide marketing decisions.
Team Collaboration & Project Coordination
- Work closely with graphic designers, educators, and freelancers to ensure projects stay on track.
- Provide clear direction and feedback for content and design deliverables.
- Support cross-functional teams (Ecommerce, Education, Product Development) on launch planning and brand initiatives.
- Communicate updates and campaign plans to leadership.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, social media, digital content, or related fields.
- Strong storytelling, communication, and copywriting skills.
- Experience managing social media accounts and coordinating content.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable being on camera for brand content when needed.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Experience in beauty, aesthetics, cosmetics, or wellness is an asset.
- Familiarity with tools like Instagram/TikTok analytics, Canva, Klaviyo, and Meta Business Suite is a plus (not required to be an expert).
