Job Overview

We're looking for a talented Sous Chef with strong experience in Mediterranean and Asian cuisines to support daily kitchen operations, ensure consistent quality, and contribute to creative menu development.

You'll assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise will shine as you collaborate with the Executive Chef to design innovative menus and oversee food production, all while fostering a positive and productive kitchen environment.

What you'll do

  • Assist in the creation and execution of menu items that reflect our culinary vision and cater to diverse dietary needs.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork and enhance performance.
  • Manage food production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Coordinate catering events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals that exceed guest expectations.
  • Lead by example in cooking techniques, inspiring your team to elevate their culinary skills.
  • Monitor kitchen operations during service hours, managing shift responsibilities effectively.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in a culinary role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining with Asian and Mediterranean knowledge.

Preferred qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
  • Proven expertise in Mediterranean and Asian cuisines.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cost control and kitchen management.
