Role Description
This is a temporary on-site role for a Turnaround Supervisor located in Calgary, AB. The Turnaround Supervisor will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of plant turnarounds, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating labor and safety operations, managing turnaround activities, supervising teams, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. The role demands close collaboration with multiple stakeholders to achieve project goals efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills with the ability to oversee and guide teams effectively
- Experience in Turnaround Management and familiarity with Project Management practices in industrial settings
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in Refineries and Petrochemical industry operations
- Additional qualifications such as certifications in safety management or courses relevant to industrial and turnaround processes are advantageous
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate on-site in Calgary, AB, and perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
