Our company is looking to hire 3 Catering Chef/ Cook to join our growing team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items in a high-volume catering setting, ensuring all dishes are cooked to the highest standard.
  • Work closely with the Chef to ensure all ingredients are available for meal preparation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen by following food safety standards and protocols at all times.
  • Manage the preparation and cooking of various dishes, including salads, appetizers, entrees, and other complex menu items.
  • Ensure all dishes are properly seasoned and presented according to the company's standards.
  • Follow recipes and adjust ingredients to cater to specific event needs or dietary requirements.
  • Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies when needed.
  • Assist in the coordination of cooking and delivery schedules to ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrate reliability, good attendance, and a strong work ethic.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry is required, preferably in catering or restaurant management.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
  • A passion for cooking and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential for success in this role.
