Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, handle transactions, support kitchen operations while following health and safety standards in a fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards.
  • Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Take orders and process payments using the point of sale system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, dining area, and equipment.
  • Stock and replenish inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional way.
  • Communicate and cooperate with other staff members and managers.
  • A valid proserve certificate or willingness to obtain one

Skills:

To be a successful fast food attendant, you should have:

  • A friendly, outgoing personality
  • Experience in the food service industry is preferred, however will train the right candidate
  • Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing, cash handling procedures
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling practices
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, follow instructions, multitask and provide excellent customer service
  • Basic mathematical and computer skills for accurate order processing
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes on as need basis
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and statutory holidays
