Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals in our restaurant. This is a vital role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of food to our customers.

**Duties**:

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- washing dishes as needed
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Cook and plate dishes according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
