**What You'll Do as Our Prep/Line Cook**:

- Prepare and execute high-quality menu items with precision, speed, and consistency, following Blanco Cantina’s authentic recipes and presentation standards.
- Set up, organize, and maintain a clean and efficient workstation for your designated area (prep or line).
- Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen Teammates to ensure smooth service, timely order delivery, and a positive team environment.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation (AHS), and handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests and Teammates.
- Assist with inventory management, including proper storage, rotation of stock (FIFO), and minimizing waste.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Proactively communicate with Chefs and management regarding station needs, stock levels, and any equipment issues.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and well-maintained kitchen at all times.

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Prep Cook or Line Cook in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant kitchen.
- Solid understanding of fundamental cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices; **Food Handler Certification is a strong asset.**:

- A genuine enthusiasm for Mexican cuisine and a desire to work with fresh, vibrant ingredients.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- A positive attitude and a reliable team player mentality, ready to support your Teammates.
- **Full availability is required** to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, accommodating our bustling restaurant needs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
