  • Design print and digital materials such as posters, brochures, social media graphics, and infographics that promote crime prevention strategies.
  • Assist in developing content for campaigns targeting youth, seniors, and vulnerable communities.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to outreach initiatives.
  • Help organize and visually enhance presentations and workshops.
  • Ensure all content aligns with accessibility standards and community values.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Graphic Design, Communications, Criminology, Public Relations or related field second year program.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent design tools is required.
  • Success in this position requires emotional intelligence; creating and sustaining safe, respectful and inclusive workplaces; promoting supportive, balanced and professional accountability; building and maintaining relationships; developing self and others; striving for results.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day

work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
