Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with hands-on experience in bodywork and mechanical knowledge. This role is essential for ensuring that vehicles are restored to their original condition, providing high-quality service to our customers.

Duties

  • Perform body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and paint refinishing.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and modifications.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in heavy lifting and moving of vehicle parts as necessary during the repair process.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role is preferred, especially within a dealership environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various automotive issues.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools specific to automotive repair.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and installations.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
