Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dealership environment and possess strong mechanical knowledge. This role involves repairing, restoring, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting, demonstrating a solid background in automotive repair and mechanical work.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and refinish vehicle bodies following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
  • Conduct inspections to assess damage and determine the necessary repairs
  • Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations

Experience

  • Prior dealership experience is highly preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
  • Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with auto body work
  • Background in mechanic work or automotive repair is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$39.28 per hour
