Invoicing & Collections Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an Invoicing & Collections Specialist in our Edmonton office. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the successful candidate will be accountable for client invoicing, and various accounting tasks while supporting operations throughout Canada and the US.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure timely preparation, posting, and subsequent delivery of invoices to clients.
- Administer electronic invoicing in Client or 3rd party invoicing systems (Ariba, Open Invoice, etc.)
- Act as a key liaison for our clients addressing any invoice issues identified.
- Following up with clients on overdue invoices.
- Provide support and backup assistance to the Finance Team for various month end accounting tasks.
- Ensure timely maintenance of client records in the company's ERP system (NetSuite).
Work cross functionally with other departments to coordinate initiatives and implement related practices and procedures as needed.
Superior communication skills both oral and written.
- 3 years of project invoicing/accounting experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, developing relationships between multiple organizational areas.
