Mantra Psychotherapy is a virtual private practice located in Toronto, Ontario. We provide psychotherapy primarily to individuals in the LGBTQ2IA+ community. As a virtual clinic, we value the use of technology to provide secure, effective, and accessible services to the clients we serve. Professional & personal growth, as well as the promotion of psychoeducation, are core principles of our mission.

Our approach is integrative, with elements of cognitive-behavioural therapy, attachment-based therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, trauma-informed therapy, and client-centred therapy.

About the Role

As an administrative assistant with our clinic, you will be tasked with managing and scheduling social media posts, creating documents and content, answering and returning phone calls, coordinating intake and managing client referrals, and other duties as needed. 

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (Psychology, administrative assistant, marketing, etc.)
  • Be able to work as a freelancer (e.g., not an employee).
  • Experience working as an administrative support person in a healthcare environment.
  • Skills related to content creation/graphic design, social media (intermediate level)

Preferred Experience/Assets

  • Knowledge of internet and telehealth security standards regarding the handling of PHI
  • Knowledge/experience with the LGBTQ2IA+ community
  • Experience with social media marketing/content creation
  • Ability to be resourceful and independent.
