Position Overview

The Parts Specialist is responsible for sourcing, ordering, receiving, organizing, and distributing parts for heavy-duty equipment and truck/transport repairs. This role supports our technicians, maintains accurate inventory levels, and ensures smooth day-to-day shop operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and order parts for heavy-duty equipment and truck & transport units
  • Work directly with technicians to identify correct components
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts and materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory and update records in the system
  • Coordinate returns, warranties, and core tracking
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Keep parts area clean, organized, and efficient
  • Assist with front-counter parts inquiries as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience required: Minimum 2 years in a parts role within heavy-duty, truck/transport, construction equipment, agricultural, or similar industries
  • Strong understanding of components related to heavy-duty equipment and truck & transport
  • Ability to read parts diagrams and identify assemblies
  • Organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient with computers and parts management systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
