Equipment Rental Assistant – Capital Skates

Join our friendly and welcoming team at Capital Skates, the top rental operator on the Rideau Canal With two rental stations along the world's largest outdoor skating rink, you'll interact with visitors and provide them with the skates, sleighs, and training aids they need for an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with skate and sleigh rentals.
  • Operate a computerized rental system efficiently.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to visitors.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Proactive and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Punctuality, professionalism, and respect for schedules.
  • Customer service or sales experience (1 year preferred).

Position Details:

  • Salary: $18.00–$22.00/hour (depending on experience).
  • Shifts: Flexible hours with day, evening, and weekend availability.
  • Contract Length: 2 months (seasonal).
  • Hours: 12–40 hours per week (part-time or full-time).
