Spa Manager / Senior Aesthetician – Damara Spa Yorkville

Damara Spa Yorkville is seeking an experienced Spa Manager who is also a Licensed Aesthetician to lead our growing luxury spa team in the heart of Toronto. This unique role combines leadership, training, and hands-on service delivery, offering the perfect balance for someone passionate about both management and client care.

Location: Damara Spa Yorkville

Position: Full-Time (Must work on-site)

Position Overview:

As our Spa Manager, you will oversee daily spa operations while actively working as a Senior Aesthetician. You will lead by example, support staff development, uphold service protocols, and ensure every guest experience reflects Damara's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day spa operations, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Perform advanced aesthetic services, including facials, body treatments, waxing, and specialty spa services.
  • Lead training and development of aestheticians and support staff.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain service protocols and treatment standards.
  • Conduct regular service audits to ensure consistent quality.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and coaching of spa staff.
  • Collaborate with ownership on marketing initiatives, promotions, and inventory management.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Licensed Aesthetician with minimum 3 years of practical spa experience.
  • Strong leadership abilities and prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skilled in facial treatments, body therapies, waxing, and advanced skincare services.
  • Passion for training, mentoring, and supporting team development.
  • Organized, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of spa protocols, product usage, and client care standards.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
