When a new client joins us, their first experience starts with Implementation - and that's where you come in.

As a Payroll Implementation Advisor, you'll help new Canadian clients set up their payroll with FMP Canada. This is not a payroll processing job - it's about implementation, configuration, and compliance.

You'll work directly with clients to:

Gather and validate payroll dataConfigure payroll systems to meet Canadian legislative requirementsSupport testing and first live runsDeliver training and guidance so clients feel confident and supported from day one

You'll use your Canadian payroll knowledge, attention to detail, and system experience to make sure every setup runs smoothly and meets all compliance standards.

This role can be based anywhere in Ontario, Canada, with a planned start date of November 2025.

Be the main point of contact for new clients during onboardingCollect, review, and upload company and employee data into payroll systemsConfigure payrolls for compliance with federal and provincial rulesGuide clients through system testing and first live payroll runsProvide clear training and advice on payroll processes and reportsTroubleshoot any issues and find practical solutionsCollaborate with other teams to ensure a smooth handover to ongoing serviceSupport with year-end setup and testing (T4s, RL-1s, ROEs)What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who's confident working with both Canadian payroll systems and legislation.

You'll need:

Experience in payroll implementation (setting up systems, not processing payrolls)Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll compliance and legislation, including multi-province experienceExperience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Dayforce, Ceridian, or similar)Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, or currently working towards itStrong data management and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and client-handling skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.What You'll Gain
