About the Role
You will be the welcoming face of our clinic and an essential part of our daily workflow.
The ideal candidate enjoys communicating with pet owners and understands how important a calm, clear, and professional front desk experience is in a specialty setting.
This role is primarily reception-focused, with light support in patient handling or room flow as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service (Primary Focus)
- Answer phones, manage emails, and schedule appointments
- Greet clients and guide them through their visit
- Provide clear communication about estimates, billing, and follow-up instructions
- Support clients with empathy, professionalism, and patience
- Help maintain a smooth, calm clinic environment
Clinic Support
- Assist with check-ins, check-outs, invoicing, and medical record updates
- Coordinate daily workflow with the team
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in reception and common areas
- Support light patient handling or room setup (training provided)
General
- Support a positive, respectful, team-centered environment
- Learn dermatology workflows and protocols
- Show reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to grow
Qualifications
- Experience in a veterinary clinic or medical reception setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working in a busy, detail-oriented environment
- Empathy toward pets and their families
- Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Ability to learn quickly and follow protocols consistently
