**About us**

Paws on Fraser Veterinary Hospital is a purpose-built, general practice companion animal hospital in the vibrant neighborhood of Mount Pleasant/Kensington-Cedar Cottage. We are four local veterinarians with over 40 years of combined experience in Vancouver.

We are a team of dedicated animal care professionals who are passionate about practicing progressive, compassionate, quality medicine. A supportive and collaborative work culture is very important to us.

Our practice is growing and looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist to join our team. We are looking for a compassionate individual with excellent communication and organizational skills and who has previous experience in the veterinary field.

As our veterinary hospital grows, so do the opportunities for our team. We welcome creative ideas and are open to suggestions for how our team members can contribute to the growth and success of the clinic. There are opportunities for growth in this position, such as receiving training in veterinary nutrition or becoming an office manager. Join us in our journey as we grow and expand our hospital

**Qualifications and experience**:

- At least 2 years of previous experience working in a veterinary hospital
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with practice management software, ideally DaySmart Vet
- A passion for animal care and a dedication to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.50-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 - 38 per week
