You must be honest, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic with clients and their pets; a hard working team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently.

And of course, loving ALL animals is a MUST : )

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist:

- Assisting the Dr. with restraining and handling pets in a proper manner during treatments and surgeries related jobs
- Handling in-lab machines and assisting in performing laboratory tests
- Creating patient invoices and estimates
- Maintaining medicine and food inventory
- Maintaining medical notes in order
- Sending insurance claims for patients
- Maintaining and handling cash/invoices/till honestly

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Have a commitment of at minimum one least one year with age limit 18 and above
- Living within 15-20 km of the clinic (Point Grey Village, address is #103-4416 W. 10th Avenue, Vancouver, BC. V6R 2H9)
- Fluent English is a required and Fluent Mandarin is preferred
- Veterinary Assistant/Reception experience is an asset, but willing to train the right individual
- Efficiency with computer programs (Cornerstone) and typing

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 4-28 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Mask only if needed. Staffs and clients should not have COVID symptoms when on site.
